Driver Vacancy

Looe Taxis are now looking for a friendly/happy go lucky owner driver to join our team, this person (male/female) needs to be reliable mature, have a sense of humour, ready to have a good laugh, be helpful & prepared to work hard. Looe is a seasonal town so work from whit May till end of October is usually good, winter can be tough but we tick over with our locals & our drivers usually share day & evening shifts working 5 out of 7.

To become a driver the person needs to have a medical, police check taxi test then hold a current Caradon taxi badge (paid by you)

The vehicle needs to be in good clean condition & hold a current Caradon hackney plate & licence (paid by you) & be of at least 5 seats (including driver).

We supply a two way radio; you supply a top sign, meter & then pay us a weekly radio rent charge.

We advertise using this web page which is linked into the Looe Polperro & Talland web pages, the Tencreek Gazette this cost is then split between all of us for a small yearly fee.
